Families with Children- Your cost of living can be HIGH.Get rid of the debt – and I don’t mean the mortgage. Rather HP’s, credit cards, store cards and personal loans. By consolidating these debts on your mortgage at a lower interest rate you can have the cash to meet the living expenses and focus on spending TIME with your family while they are young. It is time you will NOT get back and can NOT buy back.
- Kids have left home, mortgage free, or nearly? Then now is the time to consider investing in a rental
property or two. NOT for the Capital Growth, but for the passive income to meet your retirement needs. I have worked with a number of people to buy low maintenance, middle of the range homes in good locations recently. This is an ideal plan for those of us whose kids aren’t living in our wallets anymore.
We need to change. No longer is it OK to desire that 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom house overlooking the park unless you can AFFORD it. Think of it as defining your needs
